Farm Visit

At Akshayakalpa, we believe that understanding your food’s journey is key to making conscious choices. That’s why we’ve created our Farm Visit Initiative, offering you a unique opportunity to connect with the very source of your nutrition.

We’re excited to offer two distinct farm visit experiences-

Regular Farm Visit: Witness the magic of organic farming unfold before your eyes. See our sustainable practices in action, from bee pollination to our innovative, hands-free milking process.

Experiential Farm Visit: For those who want to dig deeper (sometimes literally!), this hands-on program lets you actively participate in farm activities. Get your hands dirty and truly experience the day-to-day life on an organic farm.

Both programs showcase how we transform waste into nutrient-rich compost and offer the joy of harvesting your own organic vegetables. You’ll leave with a newfound appreciation for the power of organic farming in reviving soil health and supporting farmers’ livelihoods.

We're proud to host these enlightening visits across our three farms-

Let's Give Back the Milk Pack

At Akshayakalpa, we’re on a mission to break the cycle of plastic waste. We’ll be honest – we used to sell things in plastic too. But now, we’re determined to make a change, and we need your help!

Our recycling initiative is simple yet powerful. Here’s how you can join in

01

Rinse your milk packets

02

Dry them thoroughly

03

Return them in your Akshayakalpa delivery bag

Important tip: Don't cut the packets - it makes them impossible to recycle!

Why does this matter? Every year, millions of milk packs end up in landfills, harming our soil, water, and wildlife. But together, we’re making a difference. In just two years, we’ve recycled 35,000 kg of plastic – that’s 7 million packets!

Let’s make recycling a habit, one pack at a time. Every packet you return helps preserve our environment for generations to come. Join us in this important movement!

Ready to take action? Here's how you can do more -

Good Food Movement Portal

Good Food Movement is a knowledge portal dedicated to educating consumers about the intricate journey of their food, from farm to fork. Many people are unaware of how their food is grown, processed, and cooked. Even fewer consider what happens to food after it has been consumed, including waste management and its environmental impact. Our mission is to bridge this knowledge gap and empower consumers to make informed decisions about what they eat.

We believe that food is more than just sustenance—it’s the foundation of our health, communities, and the planet’s wellbeing. The choices we make regarding our food can either harm or heal the Earth. We are committed to fostering positive change by promoting transparency and education around food systems. From understanding sustainable farming practices to addressing food waste, we cover a range of topics that help consumers see the broader impact of their dietary habits.

The Good Food Movement advocates for a food-first approach to tackling global challenges like climate change, public health, and environmental degradation. We believe that positive solutions for the planet’s future must begin with food. Together, we can cultivate a healthier relationship with food that benefits both ourselves and the world around us.

Good Food for Schools

At Akshayakalpa, we believe children should understand where their food comes from. Our Good Food for Schools initiative aims to rebuild that crucial connection between young minds and the food they eat.

Our 5-week initiative guides students from soil to plate through hands-on learning.

Throughout the program, children participate in hands-on activities like -

01

02

03

Recycling and composting

Plant identification and deweeding exercises

Label reading to understand packaged foods

Children also engage in activities like recycling workshops, deweeding, and label reading to build sustainable habits.

We also offer a Farm Visit Program, allowing students to experience organic farming firsthand at our farms. This reinforces their learning and broadens their perspective on sustainable food production.

By joining our initiative, you’re not just teaching children about healthy eating – you’re empowering them to become conscious consumers and potential future change-makers.

Zero Waste, Zero Junk Birthdays

A celebration shouldn’t cost the Earth. While birthday parties bring joy and create memories, they’ve also become synonymous with overflowing garbage bins, single-use plastics, and processed snacks that leave behind more than just empty wrappers. At Akshayakalpa Organic, we’re reimagining these precious moments with our Zero-Waste Zero-Junk Birthday initiative.

The statistics are sobering—India generates 3.4 million tonnes of plastic waste annually, with birthday parties and events contributing significantly through disposable decorations, cutlery, and packaging. Nearly half of this waste comes from items used for mere hours before being discarded, leaving a legacy that lasts centuries.

Picture this: A birthday party where every element tells a story of consciousness. We’ve carefully curated every aspect of these parties to minimize environmental impact while maximizing fun. From reusable tableware that adds character to eco-friendly decorations that charm without harm, each choice reflects our commitment to the planet. Activities focus on engaging children in meaningful play, fostering creativity and connection while steering clear of screen-time and processed treats.

But this initiative is about more than just reducing waste—it’s about reshaping how we celebrate life’s precious moments. It’s about teaching our children that joy doesn’t come wrapped in plastic, and that the most memorable parties are those that respect both our communities and our environment.

Ready to host a celebration that makes a difference? Share your details here, and we will reach out to help you plan the perfect sustainable birthday party.

Rent Cutlery

Remember the celebrations of yesteryear? Just three decades ago, our gatherings told a different story—one where steel plates were cherished, cutlery was shared, and ‘disposable’ wasn’t part of our celebration vocabulary. Today, each wedding, each party, each gathering leaves behind mountains of single-use plates, cups, and cutlery that burden our planet for centuries to come.

But what if we could celebrate like our grandparents did, with the convenience of today?

We’re reviving this sustainable tradition through our Cutlery Rental Program. It’s simple yet impactful—elegant steel plates, sturdy cups, and quality cutlery available for your celebrations, making waste-free gatherings not just possible, but effortless.

Think about it: A single wedding with 500 guests using disposable plates and cups generates approximately 5000 pieces of waste that will outlive the celebration by hundreds of years. Now imagine those same 500 guests using our steel cutlery—zero waste, zero guilt, just pure celebration.

Planning a celebration? Let’s make it memorable for all the right reasons. Drop us an enquiry here and join the growing community of conscious celebrators who are choosing better for our planet.

Women Empowerment Program

About 80-85% of the workforce in dairy consists of women, yet many face challenges in financial independence and decision-making. To support these local communities, we introduced a women-led program aimed at generating sustainable farm revenue through our co-existence model.

To bridge the gender communication gap, we select women leaders from these communities and provide them with training in regenerative farming methods, dairy practices, and our co-existence model. These leaders then train other women in their communities, creating a ripple effect of knowledge and empowerment.

Previously, most financial transactions went to male members as many women lacked bank accounts or were not involved in financial decisions. This program has changed that. Now, women have their own bank accounts, receive payments directly, and make their own financial decisions.

Currently, this initiative operates within a 20 km radius of our plant facility in Tiptur, supporting 400 women dairy farmers and another 400 non-dairy women farmers. It’s a step towards economic empowerment and a brighter future for these communities.

Community Cleaning Drive

At Akshayakalpa, we believe that true change begins with action, not just words. That’s why we’ve initiated our monthly Community Cleaning Drive, a hands-on approach to environmental stewardship that starts right at our doorstep.

Once a month, our team steps out of the office and into the community, dedicating time to cleaning the areas surrounding our Akshayakalpa premises. This initiative is more than just tidying up, it’s a powerful reminder of the waste we generate and its impact on our environment.

By actively participating in these cleaning drives, we’re not only improving our local surroundings but also fostering a deeper awareness of our consumption habits. It’s a tangible way to reflect on the waste we produce and consider how we can reduce it in our daily lives.

By turning reflection into action, we’re not just cleaning our community – we’re cultivating a culture of environmental responsibility. At Akshayakalpa, we’re proving that small, consistent actions can lead to meaningful change.
