A warm and comforting blend perfect for any season. With the sweetness of honey, the tartness of apples, and a hint of cinnamon spice, this tea is both soothing and flavorful, making it a delightful treat for your senses.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1 tbsp ghee
- Water 100ml
- Salt as per taste
For Stuffing:
- 1/2 cup channa dal soaked
- 1/2 cup urad daal soaked
- 2-3 green chillies chopped fine
- 3-4 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1 tsp jeera
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp hing
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Fresh chopped coriander a handful
For tempering :
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a pan melt 1 tbsp ghee, add water and salt. Bring to a boil,
- Add in rice flour and mix well.
- Knead into a dough and keep covered aside.
- In a mixer coarsely grind the dals along with ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, green chillies and spices.
- Roll out the rice flour dough into small discs, place stuffing inside and fold it.
- Repeat for all the dough to make the farra.
- Steam the farras for 20 min.
- Cut into halves and temper them in ghee.
- Enjoy with mint chutney.
