Grilled Bombay Sandwich

 

A classic Indian street food that’s bursting with flavors and textures. Layered with fresh vegetables, spicy green chutney, and a sprinkle of masala, it’s grilled to perfection for a crispy, savory delight.

Recipe:

  • Blend together coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, green chillies along with salt, black salt, cumin seeds and asfoetida. Your green chutney is ready
  • Add lemon juice and keep this chutney aside
  • Start slicing vegetables like – Onion, Tomato, Cucumber, Boiled Potato, Boiled Beetroot
  • Now take bread slices
  • Apply generous amount of butter
  • 2Now apply green chutney to both the slices of bread
  • Start layering the vegetables and keep sprinkling chat masala
  • Cover it with other bread
  • Press it nicely so that vegetables are intact
  • Grill it until crispy
  • Take the sandwich out, apply some butter and sprinkle sev
  • Grilled bombay sandwich is ready
  • Add cheese if you like
